If the Garrison is captured while a Dragon is in the area rex will have to lure the dragon out or kill it to complete the capture. The Shields can be lowered to allow dragons in and is an effective way to capture Garrisons. Most Garrisons will have a shield that protects the units inside from Dragons. Rex is also able to Fast Travel to any previously Liberated Garrison.
Once unlocked, the garrisons will allow Rex to access Stores, Hostage Rescue and Predator's Path Missions. Garrisons are locations controlled by Omega Force that can be unlocked by killing all the enemy units. Also, upgrading weapons with side missions!
